Bioregional Australia is a public information website for interested clientele that incorporates a member area for access to member-only content. Bioregional Australia works with partners to create better, more sustainable places to live, work and do business.
The Bioregional Australia website design and development project delivered a purpose-driven digital platform for a Not for Profit website focused on sustainability, community resilience, and environmental leadership. Based on the global Bioregional framework that originated in the United Kingdom, the Australian Sustainability website was created to localise content, share regional initiatives, and support collaboration across communities, councils, and organisations. The community building website highlighted practical sustainability programs, educational resources, and partnerships designed to promote low-carbon living and regenerative practices. Built with a clean, accessible structure and responsive design, the site ensured information was easy to find for stakeholders, volunteers, and partners across Australia.
Unfortunately, the website is no longer active following the retirement of the key leader who drove the Australian arm of the organisation. While the local chapter concluded, the project remains a strong example of how a Not for Profit website can amplify sustainability initiatives and community engagement. Reward Design continues to support organisations working toward environmental responsibility, social impact, and stronger, more sustainable communities.
